Today was a relatively easy ride day. It was 110 miles with light tail winds. And only 2300 feet of climbing. I never thought I would see the day where I welcomed a 110 mile ride. I chose to ride very easy the whole day keeping my heart rate below 130 for most of the ride. Because we have plenty of time I stopped to take pictures and make videos along the way.
The whole day I was dealing with muscles tightening in my left leg from the calf up to my rear end. I am trying to mend it with stretching and heat.
Tomorrow was supposed to be a very easy day too. However we will be dealing with partial headwinds of 10-20 for whole day. We are departing as early as possible to give us as much time to finish.
We crossed our 1000 mile milestone today. The cows at lunch stop seemed vary curious about us. We leave New Mexico tomorrow and loose another hour again due to timezone change.
Mark I like the 1000 mile picture. You look great keep up the good work. Jim Brown
