This is a blog about my Ride (not Race) Across America from Costa Mesa, CA. to Amesbury MA. April 21-May 22, 2103 for my 50th Birthday with videos, pictures and commentary. I encourage my family and friends to post comments, questions and, especially, encouraging words (one can never get enough encouragement ;). If you want to find older posts to catch up on what I've been up to during the ride, go the to bottom of the page and pull down the "Blog Archive" menu.
Glad you got a day of rest...thanks for sharing your photos and thoughts...I'm sure none if us can imagine the pace you are going..keep the faith and may the Holy Spirit keep you company when it seems you are alone. Thinking of u. Rhonda
Wow, the miles you have covered!! I hope the day of rest gives you a chance to catch up on sleep, rest for the muscles, and getting organized for the next leg. Know that we are with you every rotation of the pedals.
Babe you are the grind man. As you pedal picture me pushing you from behind and things feeling easier. I loved my voice mail today. It melted my heart and of course I love you more then you can imagine. Nice and gentle tomorrow. Remember there is no rush. Stay safe as you come down the mountain. I will get your next box in the mail. love sandy
Wow, Albuquerque already. That is incredible! I remember driveing to Albuquerque last year at this time and I can't image biking it in a week. Your pictures are cool. I particularly like your picture at the corner of Winslow AZ. Enjoy your rest day and keep on pedaling.
